The
main categories on the J. S. Paluch Subscriber Resource Center (SRC) home page
will show you the most-commonly-sought resources available to you, like This
Sunday, Photo Covers, Weekly Text Pages, Traditions, and so on. But what if you
are looking for something not covered by those categories? This is where a
Keyword Search can be most helpful. It enables you to look through all the
resources online to see what’s available to you.
Start
by clicking on All Resources on the main page, or on the All tab at the top of
any other page.

In the Search Resources box on the left, enter your search terms in the Type Keywords field (today we’re looking for “Prayer Breakfast”), and hit your Enter key.

The
results page will show all the items associated with that keyword combination,
in English and in Spanish (unless you specify the Engish-only filter, but
that’s a subject for another day.)
But
what if you’re not sure about what words to search on? There’s a very helpful
feature that will help you to build a successful sear ch. Right above the Type
Keywords field you will see a little magnifying glass.
If you click on that, it will take you to an expanded search page where you can explore existing key words alphabetically:

Click
on B and scroll down to see the term “breakfast.” You can highlight that term
with your cursor, then click on the right-pointing arrows to add it to the
Selected Keyword(s) list.
Then
click on Continue and the two search terms are added to the Type Keywords
field.
When
you hit the Enter key, the items associated with those two terms in combination
will appear in the results.
There
are ways that you can refine your search using the filters and the choices in
the “Match All” box just below the Type Keywords field.
When you are done with a search, just click on (Clear) to start a new search.

Take
some time to experiment and get to know the options. The Keyword Search is a
powerful tool that can unlock all kinds of hidden treasures for you once you
get to know it.
